Dave Lenahan is a Buffalo, NY-born and raised in Cleveland, OH but has called Nashville, TN Home for many years. The Award Winning Nashville-based singer-songwriter whose music blends the grit of Midwest rock with the heart of Americana. A lifelong musician and former radio veteran of over 40 years, Lenahan now channels his storytelling into a rich catalog of roots-inspired songs that have earned over a million Spotify streams and several independent artist cuts — including Chancey Williams' dual recordings of “Baby I’m Gone.” His debut album Or Something Like That… dropped in 2023, and he’s currently preparing to release Absalom, a concept-driven project inspired by a forgotten Tennessee cemetery he helped uncover and preserve.
Lenahan’s singles “Absalom” and “Father of Peace” were both Top 10 finalists in the World Songwriting Awards, and his acclaimed podcast The Songwriter Connection won Podcast of the Year at the 2024 Elite Music Awards. In 2025 he signed a deal with Heart Songs Music Group and has released Baby I’m Gone, Faces in the Glow, Die on this Barstool to critical acclaim recognized by the Academy of Country Music, Holler Country, Coda Country and many more publications.

A regular performer at The Bluebird Café and songwriter festivals across the country, he writes 80–100 songs a year and performs 100+ shows annually.
