NASHVILLE CONNECTION RADIO SHOW

DAVE LENAHAN

Dave Lenahan is a Buffalo, NY-born and raised in Cleveland, OH. , Nashville-based singer-songwriter whose music blends the grit of Midwest rock with the heart of Americana. A lifelong musician and former radio veteran of over 40 years, Lenahan now channels his storytelling into a rich catalog of roots-inspired songs that have earned over a million Spotify streams and several independent artist cuts — including Chancey Williams' dual recordings of “Baby I’m Gone.” His debut album Or Something Like That… dropped in 2023, and he’s currently preparing to release Absalom, a concept-driven project inspired by a forgotten Tennessee cemetery he helped uncover and preserve.

Lenahan’s singles “Absalom” and “Father of Peace” were both Top 10 finalists in the World Songwriting Awards, and his acclaimed podcast The Songwriter Connection won Podcast of the Year at the 2024 Elite Music Awards. A regular performer at The Bluebird Café and songwriter festivals across the country, he writes 80–100 songs a year and performs 100+ shows annually. Driven by purpose and a passion for connection, Lenahan is devoted to crafting timeless songs that tell real stories and leave a lasting impact.

Faces in the Glow

Lenahan’s raw honesty about the very human fear of losing someone you love - so much so that you'd rather sit in silence than risk being apart - lands with striking emotional weight. - Publicity Nation

BABY I’M GONE

"Baby I'm Gone" is as much about presence as it is about absence. It captures that in-between moment - when your truck won't start and your heart's not quite ready to either - and finds comfort in it. It's funny, tender, and beautifully unhurried. A love letter to letting go, but not without one last drink. Maybe two.” - TUNES MAGAZINE

Baby I’m Gone

There’s a particular kind of magic that lives in small-town bars — where neon hums louder than the jukebox, the bartender knows your story better than you do, and the same seat waits for you like an old friend. Dave Lenahan’s music video for “Baby I’m Gone,” filmed inside the timeworn charm of Betty Lou’s Bar & Grill, leans into that magic and makes a home in it.
